River Walk Lights

Watch as thousands of brightly colored lights that drape the River Walk's gigantic cypress trees come to life. The parade begins after the lights come on. The lights shine brightly every evening through January 1. Tickets are sold through the Paseo Del Rio Association at (210) 227-4262.

Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza

Join us in San Antonio for the 15th Annual Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza. The Extravaganza is a seven day spectacular and elaborate production of mariachi-related events that include an evening with the world renowned Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán in concert, mariachi group and vocal competitions, a mariachi mass at the historic San Jose Mission, mariachi workshops, a mariachi art exhibit featuring photos and original paintings with mariachi based themes, and a serenade at San Antonio's Rivercenter Mall Lagoon.
