» JOB: COMPLIANCE AUDITOR
LOCATION: Edinburg / West Meadows
DUTIES: Perform moderately complex internal compliance audits (BSA, Reg O, Reg E, Reg. CC, HMDA, etc). Complete assigned audit procedures. Conduct audits by inquiring, testing and observation. . Identify risks, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Document audit work and issue(s) in accordance with auditing standards Communicate with management as necessary to accomplish audit requirements; some travel with overnight stay. » JOB: BOOKKEEPING REP.
LOCATION: Edinburg / West Meadows
DUTIES: Assist FNB employees through e-mails and phone calls in reference to research, reconciliation of General Ledger (GL) accounts, overdraft issues to include charge-offs, Fresh Start, OD Protection (ODP), and exception items including but not limited to: NSFs, non-posted transactions, stop payments and general transaction exception questions; Daily posting of customer transaction exceptions; Research and analyze customer account information requests and make necessary corrections if needed; Work with statements and account maintenance; Resolve GL outages due to closing of accounts and item processing corrections and adjustments; Process adjustments as needed to clear possible outages; and other related duties as assigned.

DUTIES: Reviews and analyzes account transactions for suspicious activity. Work with account officers to better understand the customers and their activities. Completes reports of the activity noted during the review process to be presented to appropriate committee.

» JOB: MORTGAGE SPECIALIST / SCANNER
LOCATION: McAllen / Trenton
DUTIES: Organize and scan mortgage documents, upload appraisal files, track and route the delivery of original notes and loan files to storage, clear ticklers, and assist Loan Processors, Funders, and Branch partners. This is an entry-level position within the Mortgage Center and the point from which we promote to fill more advanced openings within the department. » JOB: CREDIT REVIEW OFFICER
LOCATION: Edinburg / West Meadows
DUTIES: Provide initial quality control and review of Credit Analysts’ review product, processes and findings; Monitor and track work flow and productivity of Credit Analysts, assigning financial spreads, credit reviews and action plan updates as necessary; Develop or supervise the development of quarterly Action Plan distribution and completion for criticized and classified assets as determined by loan policy; Assist the Senior Credit Review Officer in the training and continuing education of the Credit Analysts; Assist in the development of internal processes, procedures and policies and the development and evolution of the Credit Review document, the Action Plan and any other projects/reports; Communicate with lenders as necessary to accomplish operational requirements; Promote business for the bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to the appropriate staff, and other duties as assigned.

Health Insurance
First National Bank contributes to the cost of the enrolled employee’s premium. The employees pays $100 a month (employee only coverage), for medical, dental, vision, and prescription benefits administered by Aetna. Coverage is effective on the first day of the month following completion of three months of service. To be eligible, employees must be full time.

Life Insurance
First National Bank provides, at no cost to the employee, Life insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance equal to one times the employee's annual salary, rounded to the next higher $1000, subject to a maximum of $100,000. Coverage is effective on the first day of the month following three months of service. To be eligible, employees must be full time.

Disability Insurance
First National Bank pays the entire premium for Long-Term Disability insurance. The plan pays up to 66 2/3% of compensation in the event of disability, with a maximum benefit of $6000 per month, following a 90-day elimination period. Coverage is effective on the first day of the month following three months of service. To be eligible, employees must be full time.

401(k) Plan
Employees are eligible to enroll in the plan on the 1st day of the quarter following their date of employment. Plan entry dates are January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1. Contribution amounts can also be changed on the first of each quarter; however, you may reduce your contribution amount to zero at any time during the plan year. First National Bank also contributes to the participant's account according to the Plan Document.

Cafeteria Plan
Employee may redirect a portion of their compensation to pay for certain unreimbursed health care and dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars. Eligibility occurs on the first day of the month following three months of service.

Voluntary Benefit Plans
UNUM, a leading provider of supplemental benefits, offers after-tax voluntary plans such as: Accident, AD&D, Cancer, Critical Illness, Life, and Short Term Disability policies through payroll deductions.

ESOP
All employees who complete 1,000 hours of service in 12 months are eligible for the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Enrollment in the ESOP is automatic on January 1st or July 1st following completion of one year of service. Contributions to the ESOP are fully paid by the bank. Participant eligibility requirements are governed by the Plan Document.
